Dr Sakhile Ngcobo

Chair
SAKHILE has a PhD in Business Management, specializing in Diamond Trading and Corporate Reputation from Wits Business School. He has extensive corporate experience having spent 24 years at Anglo American (Mondi and De Beers). Sakhile is a former lecturer at Nelson Mandela University teaching Agricultural Finance and Agricultural Strategy at the Agricultural Faculty.
He has extensive leadership experience, having served as Chairperson of Richardsbay IDZ and previously chaired its subcommittee responsible for risk, audit and finance. He is the former chair of Moses Kotane and KZN Gambling Board. He is on the board of African Thunder Platinum, a mining and oil and gas investment company in Switzerland. His experience includes mining, shipping, logistics, agriculture and rural development. Sakhile is passionate about youth development and poverty eradication.
Dineo Maithufi

Dineo is a seasoned Chartered Accountant who has worked in various senior roles at key Banking and Financial Services Institutions. Her core expertise lie in Finance, Audit, Compliance and Financial Risk Management.
She has served as non-executive director as well as Audit and Risk Committee Chairperson on a number of boards including Extract Group Limited, Gauteng Enterprise Propeller and African Phoenix Investments.
She currently serves as non-executive director on the board of the Land and Agricultural Development Bank of South Africa where she is the Chairperson of the Credit and Investment Committee.
Dineo is a firm believer in ethical leadership and considers herself a social reformer. She is intent on making a positive difference in society through education, youth empowerment and mentorship.

Business Development Director
Mark obtained his Bachelor of Accounting Science at UNISA and completed his auditing articles in 1987.
His first job outside of accounting was in Financial Services, where he has now accumulated 34 years’ experience. Mark’s journey has seen him be involved in Insurance, Medical Aids, Pension and Provident Funds, Offshore Investing and Local Investing, New Business Startups, Financial Structuring, New Listings and various other Finance related fields.
Sanele Ndimande

Sanele is a qualified Chartered Accountant, achieving the first year Top Achiever Deans Award. He has a passion for finance process optimisation through leveraging of technology.
Sanele served his articles with the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Johannesburg and subsequently worked for the PwC Netherlands office.
Sanele has been with the Gcwensa Group from 2015 as a Non-Executive member and is currently leading the advisory leg of the business dealing with risk and process optimisation projects.

Chief Compliance Officer
Mark is a seasoned legal advisor and consultant with over 25 years’ experience as both an attorney and in-house legal counsel. He has eleven years executive experience in venture capital and private equity as a fund manager, including active directorships on boards of early stage, privately owned technology companies.
He has extensive corporate governance and regulatory compliance experience in the financial services industry, as an admitted attorney (2000), a registered compliance officer with FSB (2007), and nine years as a Key Individual and Representative of a licensed Category I and II financial services provider.
Mark has a strong entrepreneurial disposition having co-founded a niche R120 million technology commercialization venture capital fund and fund management company, with public and private sector investors in 2002
He is a good communicator and enthusiastic about education, being a regular speaker at business and community events and lecturer of various commercial and law subjects at tertiary level.
Devin Shutte

From the age of 10 when he bought his first shares, Devin knew he had a passion for investing. For the past 20 years, he has been involved in the global financial markets. He was head of a derivatives trading desk through the Global Financial Crisis, before running his own stock brokerage. He has lectured investments and finance at MBA level, and now is head of the asset management team that manages TRG’s award-winning global investment strategies.
Devin is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Markets, a regular market commentator who is a regular on CNBC and Business Day, as well as an unapologetic optimist.
